Descrizione
È più piccolo del Lithodes santolla, una specie simpatrica di granchio reale, con una lunghezza del carapace fino a 115 mm e un peso fino a 1,5 kg.
Diffusione
Vive intorno alla punta meridionale del Sud America in Cile, Argentina e Isole Falkland.
